Human Recombinant Prolactin produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 200 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 23007 Dalton. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids is Met-Leu-Pro-Ile-Cys. Accession no. P01236.

STORAGE AND STABILITY
Although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, product is best stored desiccated below -18oC. Following reconstitution, product can be stored at 4oC for 2-7 days. For long term storage, reconstituted product is best stored at -18oC with the addition of a stabilizing protein such as 0.1% HSA or BSA. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
